You decide what you want in your local community newspaper.
As a member of The Corporation for Public Community
Newspapers, you review the performance of your local
community newspaper, set goals for its future work, and vote to
fund special projects.

or this slideshow introduction.
The Corporation for Public Community Newspapers (CPCN)
provides a formal structure for conducting what we call Public
Journalism 2.0: a combination of civic journalism (agenda
setting by the community) and citizen journalism (reporting by
the community with support from journalism professionals).
CPCN's independent revenue sources and budget give members a
direct and permanent voice in the public community newspaper
through the projects and activities that it chooses to fund.
The Corporation for Public Community Newspapers is
registered in the state of Montana as a non-profit organization
and has applied for 501(c)(3) status. For more information,
contact us by sending email to info [at] publicnewspapers [dot]
